Pawtagon Retreat Table
This chonky vintage 1980s maple hexagon table has been given a much-needed overhaul. Who doesn’t like cardboard boxes, paper bags, and pet beds all over the house? Not me; that’s why I created this end table with a pet cave combo. The top was restored to its natural maple finish because, why cover it up? But everything needs a splash of something, so I painted the exterior in a cadet blue chalk, added some linen cream stencil highlights to amuse myself, and completed the trim and interior in a charcoal blue and sealed it with wax. This 20″ pet bed is made of plant-based materials and is machine washable. Also, my cat is still fiercely defending her paper bag, so I guess it stays.
