Adding to its unique charm, the seat has been meticulously re-caned, no longer with the traditional weave but with strands of silver micro paracord, creating the most exceptionally comfortable chair I’ve worked on to date.

Dragon Chairs
This set of eight Chinese Dragon Chairs are steeped in rich tradition, tracing its origins back to B.C. eras when it was exclusively reserved for emperors. Adorned with dragons symbolizing imperial power, it’s intriguing to consider that only the highest echelons of society were privileged to experience such artistry.
Crafted from solid rosewood, these armchairs are exquisitely carved with a traditional Chinese imperial dragon motif. While I appreciate the allure of a dark cherry finish, I believe it does a disservice to the beauty of the rosewood. Therefore, I decided to remove the finish, allowing the natural grain to shine through and honoring the intricate design. The hand-carved curved tiger paw feet, combined with traditional joinery techniques, ensure not only aesthetic appeal but also long-lasting durability.
